This guide will show you how to troubleshoot your 7 Days to Die experimental version server.

Upon switching, you'll also need to make changes to your serverconfigmain.xml (via Configuration Editor).

Log in to your Game Control Panel.
Turn off the server for now to ensure stability.

Locate and click Server Updater.
Select the Latest Experimental or your preferred version, then click Execute.
A progress bar will appear to show the status.
Once that is done, open the Configuration Files

Select Text Editor for "serverconfigmain.xml" and press search
Search "<property name="SaveGameFolder" and remove the entire line.
Search "/User-Data" and remove it from the end of <property name="UserDataFolder"
Hit save and the server is now playable with the 1.0 Experimental Version.
Turn on the server and use the connection info to connect.
